gpa conversion

my school uses percentage grades out of 100 instead of the 4.0 scale. I want to know where my GPA fits in with the average GPA of colleges i'm applying to. what would a weighted 102 be?

I wouldn't focus too much on the GPA since some schools don't calculate one. Most colleges recalculate GPA based on the high school you attend and course rigor. Furthermore, if your school has a class rank, it can indicate academic abilities far better than a single GPA. Generally, I like how Collage Vine displays course rigor as being above, at, or below the average for each school and displays unweighted as a separate category. But if GPA is a concern for applying, I would go with JaelS238's advice and calculate it on a four scale to get a rough estimate of what collages would see.

Good Luck,

There is a helpful chart on this page: blog.collegevine.com/how-to-convert-your-gpa-to-a-4-0-scale/

Based on this and other things I have seen, your GPA would be a 4.0. If it is 102, it may technically be above 4.0 by a little, but I am not finding any info on how to translate that.

Hope that helps and lmk if you have any questions.
