summer programs/extracurriculars

are there any good summer programs/extracurriculars/events for students wanting to go into either the medical field or international relations? I’m also willing to explore other career options! I live in Texas so Texas would be preferable but I can also travel so any state is okay!

Hi! I'm not sure about international relations or programs available specifically in Texas, but I know for the medical field a lot of times local hospitals have teen volunteer programs available. In Florida I know for sure that Orlando Health, Advent Health, and Nemours all offer such programs, and you can usually choose a once-a-week volunteer shift. I would definitely look into something like this as an option at any of your local hospitals, since it is an opportunity to be involved in a clinical setting and can help you explore your interest in the medical field. You could also look into taking certification courses like CPR and First Aid if you are just interested in learning. I hope this helps!
