summer programs/extracurriculars

In Florida I know for sure that Orlando Health, Advent Health, and Nemours all offer such programs, and you can usually choose a once-a-week volunteer shift. I would definitely look into something like this as an option at any of your local hospitals, since it is an opportunity to be involved in a clinical setting and can help you explore your interest in the medical field.
