early decision for most schools is August 1st or the last week of July (for some). normal decision is typically a couple months after (like december-ish). it is different for each school and can differ by up to a month or so, so I wouldn't know for which schools you are planning to apply to, but if you have a plan for what you want to do and apply for and are confident in your applications then I would say go for early decision! it helps relieve stress and lets you sort of sit back your senior year because you already have it taken care of! just make sure you still try and keep up your GPA because some(most) colleges can retract their acceptance.

I guess it depends on how sure u r in ur decision. If u absolutely know where u wanna go, I’d say why wait? If not then maybe give ur self a couple more months, and apply early senior year :)

Normally, it is early or mid senior year. As a junior, I think you are past the point for Early Decision or Early Action applications, so the option is "normal" applications which is Regular Decision or Rolling Admissions. Each college has its own date that seniors can begin applying. The earliest I have heard is August 1st. Make sure you check each of the college's websites so you can create a timeline of when applications open AND when they close (if Regular Decision- Rolling Admissions works on a rolling basis where you apply and normally hear back in a couple weeks if you're in or not.)

Hope this helps and lmk if you have any questions!
