Applying test optional

Is it bad to apply test optional if your school pays for everyone to take the SAT? Like, will the schools assume you scored poorly if you don't submit a score.

No! Schools can't assume you didn't score well simply because you've applied test optional. If you choose not to submit scores, it won't negatively affect your chances of admission, however, they can boost it if you score well. I hope this helps! Best of luck to you! <3

Applying test optional is not a problem...as long as you KNOW the college will still be test-optional when you apply. Many (especially top tier) colleges are returning to their test score requirements. I would reach out to the schools you will apply to and ask if they plan on remaining test-optional for the year you would apply.

no schools wont think that. although if your school pays for it it doesn't hurt to take advantage of that. Being from someone who school doesn't pay for it!!!
