Recommendation Letters

I'm an upcoming senior and I was looking to get recommendation letters for college applications, how many should I get? Also, should I get recommendations from more than just my teachers?

Check each of the colleges you are interested in to see how many letters of recommendation they require. Give them exactly what they ask for; colleges will not read extra letters of rec.

There are many people you could get letters of rec from. Coaches, employers, mentors...someone who REALLY knows you and can share about how amazing you are. You don't want to just pick someone who can say you're a great student or nice person. Find someone who can speak to who you really are as a person and someone you have a great relationship with.

I hope this helps and lmk if you have any questions.
