Engineering Extracurriculars

I am a rising senior, and I am especially worried about my extracurriculars.

Right now, I am planning on growing my social media account where I discuss STEM topics; I want to explore this and see how far I can get during the summer.

I am also planning on trying to set-up a small summer "class" where I teach younger children about the basics of rocketry and create bottle rockets with them.

My other extracurriculars are more general, for example: Asian Club secretary, NHS member, and a mentor and tutor.

Is extracurriculars something I have to worry about? If you have any ideas/helpful improvements, please suggest so! Thank you :)

If you don't mind, how do you plan to set up that summer class for kids? I want to do something similar in terms of tutoring, but I'm not sure how to organize it and get the word out to people.

It's a little late for this, but applying to summer outreach programs! at local colleges to help with research or more prestigious colleges.

also targeting your NHS volunteer hours to your major (I'm hoping for biomedical engineering, and I do a lot with kids and teenagers with special needs)
