Im currently a junior and have only taken the ACT one time. I studied a little bit before the test by doing a little basic review and taking some of the practice tests on the website. My score breakdown was 35 on reading, 29 on math, 30 on science, and 27 on english. With more studying I know I am capable of improving my composite into the 33-35 range. However im not aiming for a T20 college or anything so would it be worth the effort? I would consider it if maybe it could help me get better scholarships.
Yes, I would definitely retake it if I were you. Getting a 30 on first try is excellent and signals that you will do VERY well! Even a couple more points could get you 1000s of dollars each year, so it is totally worth it to study it in the long run. Study more intentionally this time in the areas you have a lower score.
