Admissions for Bowdoin - Feedback?

Hello everyone!!

I've been looking into Bowdoin College quite a bit and I'm really excited about my future application. However, CollegeVine ranks me at about a 7% chance, which makes me a little nervous. Is this a good number for the school? I really can't tell.

Do you guys think I could get into Bowdoin when I apply?

Stats:

- Intended major/minor if accepted: Biology major (concentration in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology) with an Environmental Studies coordinate, Biochem or Chem minor if allowed, planning on participating in the Coastal Studies program

- GPA: 90.07 / 3.6 W

- SAT: 1490 (800 RW, 690 M)

- 3 APs, 1 Honors

- 150+ service hours (aquarium, theater tech for shows)

- Multiple club leadership positions

- Starting my own marine bio and conservation club next year

- Work experience (small business owner, theater tech contract jobs)

- Involved in local queer and disability based communities

- Planning a school-wide charity fundraiser for next year

- Marine science field work research experience (as an assistant / data collector)

- Attended multiple academic conferences and trips that were invite-only (UNIS-UN student conference, local writing conference, Washington Youth Summit on The Environment)

- Very strong essay so far (according to my teachers)

- Toured in person + did a virtual interview

Thoughts? Advice? I feel like I'm a pretty strong candidate but I'm really nervous about it so I'd love some feedback!

i say go for it. the AI can only see so much when its listing your chances, you can put all of that in your application. i don't know much about that college specifically but it seems like you would have a lot to give them, and there's no harm in applying. if you get a no, then you'll have your answer, but if you get a yes, then you get to go to a college you're really excited about.

Ahh real! I plan on applying anyway, I'm just the kind of person that wants constant feedback on everything I do lol. TYSM though!! This definitely does boost my confidence a bit :)
