hiya! so i’m in literally only 1 club rn going into senior year because i just moved to america and a big introvert and i was wondering what cool clubs i could join to make me stand out

kinda depends on your major. my school has a medical careers club, so that would be great if you're going into pre-med, for instance. it doesn't really have to be related, though--the most important thing is that it's something you genuinely care about enough to put effort into.

Yes, definitely choose things you are passionate about. If you don't love it, you won't put much effort into it and you won't enjoy it either. It will just become a burden. So do what you love!

i made the mistake of trying to do things solely for my college application and the burnout really hurt other parts of my life :')

For sure! I learned this the hard way as well...at the end of sophomore year, I got VERY sick and was bedridden on the couch for an entire month. I probably should have gone into the hospital now that I think about it...Thank goodness I am homeschooled and could easily catch up early junior year without any problem! It is so important to balance studying and things you love because you will for sure burnout. I was tired, so I caught a nasty flu, then caught a second one when I was a little better. So be careful, you guys!
