try connecting it to something youre also passionate about? if you're passionate about comp sci and want an emphasis on education, you could make a website or app which teaches people how to code. it could really be anything, but make it something that interests you and that you're actually passionate about because that will ultimately be more fulfilling

I'd suggest starting with a problem outside of computer science. For an example, I'll use lost phones. Though there isn't an explicit connection between dropped phones and computer science, maybe you could write an object detection program to be implemented into CCTV to report dropped phones. Figure out how external issues can be fixed with computer-science-centric solutions.
