Passion projects / EC Ideas??

Hello! As I will be starting my junior year soon, I am interested in pursuing a career in surgery after high school and college. What are some passion projects or extracurricular activities I could get involved in? My school, being a trade school, doesn’t offer many clubs, and there are limited volunteering opportunities in my community. I am currently brainstorming ideas for an independent research paper and am also considering seeking internships or similar experiences.

There are many volunteer opportunities that are offered remotely which means they can be done online. If you are interested in pursuing surgery, you should start looking into hospitals/medical websites that offer remote opportunities for volunteering.
