Heya :)
I'm a junior this year and already having a lot of trouble with AP Physics - I have a B in it and have literally never had a B in a core class. The teacher is known for not actually teaching the topics, so my classmates are confused too and I can't go to them for help. Does anybody have any advice or extra resources to check out?
Thank you!!
hi! i'm currently taking honors physics as my high school does not offer a AP physics class, i really recommend a tutor and looking for outside help, i had a teacher like that for my geometry last year, if your school offers any outside of school help you should take it, or if your school offers a smile club, (mine does) i found that to be very helpful as well! i hope this helps! and i hope it gets better for you in the future!
Brookemyluv is struggling with AP Physics due to a lack of effective teaching. To improve, they should utilize online resources like Khan Academy, form a study group, thoroughly read the textbook, seek external help such as a tutor, and practice problems regularly. These steps can help clarify complex topics and improve understanding. 🌟
I took honors physics freshman year and we did not have an actual teacher for the class, just long term substitutes all year long. What I did to pass the class was go on my own and study! I recommend searching Chad's Prep on YouTube and looking for his General Physics Playlists. It may not be AP physics but you can scroll to find the topic/unit in which you are on and take notes on them. I LOVED using flashcards freshman year, it's the best way for me to learn and it might help you too! A B is a good grade do not stress too hard, if you're looking to increase your grade...maybe ask your teacher if there's any way you can get extra credit? Don't forget, a B in an AP class is an A in a regular class :)
