AP Psychology

Hi guys!

My current aspired major as a Junior is Biotechnology! (The career goal is to become a Research Biologist at Genentech) I'm wondering if I should take AP Psychology next year? I don't necessarily need the AP credits but I want to know if it would be beneficial for my major? However, I will be taking General Psychology 101 next year through Dual Enrollment regardless if I choose to take AP Psychology or not... Should I still take both? Are there any other courses I should add into my schedule that will help my career goal? Here's the Honors/AP/College courses I've taken so far and plan on taking:

Taken:

-Honors Geometry

-AP Chemistry

-Honors Chemistry

-Honors Physics

-Honors English

-Honors Algebra 2

-AP Lang and Comp

- Genetics, Evolution, and Society (Dual Enrollment)

-Intro to Humanities 101 (Dual Enrollment)

-Art Appreciation 160 (Dual Enrollment)

Plan:

- Honors Pre-Calc

- AP Lit

-AP Biology

-AP Gov and Economics

-Environmental Conservation 108 (Dual Enrollment)

-General Psychology 101 (Dual Enrollment)

Just take General Psych next year :) I'd take anything biochemistry, engineering, or statistics as well!
