I registered for the October SAT and was wondering if there is anything specific that I should be studying I'm aiming for a 1200 or more any advice is appreciated.
I suggest you first understand the test breakdown; The SAT is scored out of 1600, with 800 points for Math and 800 for EBRW (Reading + Writing). If you want to aim for a 1200 or more the minimum threshold for you is 600 in Math and 600 in EBRW. Another thing I suggest is to take practice tests. The link to the practice tests is provided here:

To do better in these topics,
For Math, prioritize topics like algebra, problem-solving and data analysis, and basic geometry. These topics appear frequently and are generally easier to improve on with practice.
For English, work on understanding passages and identifying the main idea(s), tone, and the author’s purpose. It would be best if you also practiced breaking down complex reading passages into manageable parts.
For Writing and language, Focus on grammar rules and sentence structure. Improving your understanding of punctuation, verb tense, and subject-verb agreements, can lead to quick score boosts.
Lastly, you also want to focus on consistency leading up to the date of the SAT. I currently am taking an in-person SAT prep class, and if you have enough time you should as well. Remember, the hardest thing in all of this is consistency. Aim to study 3-5 days a week, even if it’s just 30 minutes to an hour each day. This helps build momentum and ensures steady progress.
Khan Academy has free SAT prep and practice tests!
I highly recommend Strategic Test Prep YT videos and pdf workbooks and Method Learning desmos videos! I currently have a 1390 superscore.
