College Acceptances

Hey everyone!

I wanted to write a post regarding my college admissions coming up pretty soon. I'm sure there will be colleges that will accept me, however I'm concerned they're the ones I don't want to go to and/or they're just my backups (which is none so far). However, I wanted to ask what I should do if I don't get into my target or reach schools? Should I just go to CC for a year then apply to automatic acceptance transfer?

Help me out!

Hey boo, first off, I can feel the anxiety from here, take a deep breath. I promise, things aren’t going to end up as bad as you might think. You’re almost guaranteed to get into 100% of your safety schools and those that aren’t your top choices. For your target schools, it's more of a 50/50 chance, so you’ll likely get into at least half of the ones you’re aiming for. And who knows, you might even surprise yourself by getting into some reach schools.

Even if, by some slim chance, you don’t get into any of your favorites, and you’re comfortable with going to high school 2.0 with the plan to transfer later, that’s a solid option, as long as you’re confident you can keep your grades up. Sometimes, the transfer route can be a strategic move, and it doesn’t close off future opportunities.
