not taking AP’s

in my junior year i’m going to graduate with a dual associates of arts and science from a community college. my school only offers 2 AP’s, AP french and AP computer science. my foreign language was spanish, and i have found myself with no time to do AP computer science due to my other high school and college classes. do you think not having any AP’s will have a big impact on my college application? or will it be okay because of the rigorous course load i’ve had in order to get the associates degree(s). thanks!

I think i can relate since I only just now have an AP under my belt, but graduating with an associates is amazing! Im not an admissions officer but I think it’s up to level with, maybe even above, an AP since you have been taking college classes. Another thing, the fact that your school doesn’t offer many APs won’t hurt as bad since there’s not many, at least from what I’ve heard from counselors.

Colleges can see your schools' transcript, so they will take note that you only technically had the option to take one AP, also your dual enrollment shows that you challenged yourself in college level courses and succeeded in them. I wouldn't worry too much about not having AP's!
