Basically, im a student from India with a score equivalent to 4.0 gpa and have a strong extra curriculars section.
The college vine website went through my profile and told me that The imperial college London was a safety with me having 86% chance to get it.
It didn't take me more than 30 seconds to notice how the acceptance rate was around 14% and me getting sucha huge percentage.
Can someone go through this and check if it's an error or something?
It probably isn't accounting for the fact you're Indian. I wouldn't include that you are and would try to hide it as much as possible, since it severely decreases your chances for getting in. Other than that, you're probably good to go.
Well, that must mean that your profile must be impressive! I'm not entirely certain what classes you have taken, but I'm sure you have done exceptionally well. It could be an error, but if I were you, I would look over what the Imperial College of London is looking for in a student, and if it can relate to your past academic achievements, then there is a good chance that you REALLY DO have an 86% chance! Well done!
