Would it be a good idea to ask college admissions officers exactly what you want to do to stand out in the applications? I feel like they won't mind it, but I also feel skeptical.
I have asked my admissions counselor questions like this: What do I need to do to be considered for the highest scholarship your university offers? What SAT score would be required for that scholarship? What GPA?
It's totally okay to ask questions! Hint: email doesn't always work. If you really want answers/connection, call them. I know it's intimidating, but their job is to answer your questions, so ask away and take notes!
Yeah...the example provided by the other person is really, reallly weird, but the point made was true.
Hope this helps and lmk if you have any questions!
Applications to college have to be nonbiased. This means that all they see is your stats, your essays, etc. You could ask a college admissions officer to take their wife out on a date, and when they reviewed your application they'd have no idea that it was you. Ask them anything you can, it honestly couldn't hurt
That was a weird comparison in the middle, but thanks for the answer!
Lol, I was just trying to think of something outlandish but not like super inappropriate
