Tips to get into UF?
Answered

Just wondering if anyone knows any tips to get into UF? Currently 3.9 unweighted, 4.5 weighted. 7 Cambridge classes and 2 AP by the end of this year, 2 clubs active. Just havent scored a leadership position yet. 1220 PSAT, but I take the ACT soon. Any ideas on how to boost my chances?

Hey!

First of all, your GPA is amazing, so that itself should definitely impact your college acceptance. Your class level looks okay as well.

"A cumulative C grade point average in the academic core, as computed by the university, at all institutions attended (high school and college)."

Next up, PSAT 1220 is not bad, but just asking, did you take it for National Merit? If so, you might want to also take the SAT at least once, and same with ACT. So take it more than once if you can!!!

SAT Range

1320–1470

ACT Range

28–33

"All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT."

Finally, as a junior, I would say, definitely search for leadership!!! It helps immensely. I have leadership in a few clubs, so definitely make sure it relates to your career.

YEAH! So these tips should boost your chances, however, honestly, I say don't worry. You are doing amazing right now!
