What are some not financial based scholarships?

Hey, so if you haven't taken the PSAT for National Merit yet I recommend studying for that, you can get full rides to certain schools and generous scholarships to others. These usually are not the highest tier schools but they aren't bad. Also go ahead and try applying to FAFSA because there is no harm.

Lastly, I know schools like Rice give ALOT of financial aid that is lenient (even for household making 130k a year) you can go to their website, and im sure other schools have this too, and take a quiz that will tell you projected aid

I struggle with this, too! I am on Bold.org, and I research scholarships online and apply to them. Recently I received the Carson Scholars award, which is worth $1000, and you can apply for that in grades 4-11.
