Hey! California universities tend to have really good financial aid! If you do well in your high school classes, you will have a better chance at a good merit award. Remember to file the FAFSA early, and if you apply early decision you will also probably get more financial aid. Your regular application will automatically let you be considered for a lot of scholarships, but always check the university website to see if there are any additional scholarship applications you can fill out! Another thing you can do is apply for outside scholarships. Local scholarships will have less competition, but you can find a wider variety online. See if the business your parents' work for has a scholarship.

Do your research to see what colleges offer the most financial aid before you apply. College Board is a great resource for this. I remember that Thomas Aquinas is a college in California that meets 100% of your financial need and also has a high acceptance rate (which most colleges with that much financial aid don't have).

Good luck!

hey! so most california uni's have pretty good financial aid, especially for people who do well in high school. So first i would take a look at your grades and test scores, and see if you qualify for any scholarships or awards.
