Are there any scholarships that are a must when applying for scholarships? Also, how many scholarships do you think is a good number to apply for?

You should apply to as many as you can. This means setting up an account for a scholarship website, such as bold.org and tallo.com. You should apply for both essay and no-essay scholarships and also look for scholarships that are targeted specifically at you (i.e. if you are a junior then look for junior-only scholarships). No scholarship is really a must, as the more popular it is the less likely your chances of winning. Good luck, hope this helps.
