Paying for College

Do you have any tips for winning scholarships?

I am currently a high school sophmore. I am planning on going to college right after I finish highschool. Every chance that I get I am always trying to get scholarship money in order to pay for my college.

Just follow the requirements and try your best on what they tell you to do get the scholarships. If they ask you write an essay put effort on it and you'll be the winner.

First of all, I would recommend taking on a hefty amount of extracurriculars over the course of your high school career. This will help boost your eligibility and qualifications for scholarships. Make sure to visit and make accounts with many scholarship websites. If you do that, make sure to update your profiles on those websites and regularly check for any new scholarships that are available. A word of advice, don't just apply for the no-essay scholarships. Make sure to apply for the essay scholarships as well. Those scholarships help you have a better chance at receiving scholarship money. This is because you get to really show who you are and tell people why you are qualified to receive that scholarship.
