The best way that you can earn merit-based scholarships is by applying to schools which offer the most generous merit aid packages. These awards are typically given automatically to college applicants based on their application profiles. I recommend applying to some of the schools listed on this CollegeVine blog post. Hi! I really like Bold.org. They offer both merit and need based scholarships. Some require that you write an essay, while others do not.
