Scholarship Websites?

Does anyone have any good scholarship websites that aren't as mainstream?

Hi there,

https://www.goingmerry.com/

I recommend Going Merry because you can filter the scholarships from high competitiveness to low competitiveness. You can also filter scholarships that are specific to your interests, therefore increasing your chances of getting a scholarship.

www.raise.me

There's also RaiseMe which schools give your scholarships based on your academic/extracurricular achievements. For example, having a leadership position might grant you a couple hundred dollars towards a college. Although not all colleges offer scholarships on this website, there's a good amount of colleges that do.

I also use Bold.org because there are a variety of scholarships available. Although this is a mainstream scholarship website, there are certain niche scholarships that you can find here. For example, there's scholarships specific to major & state and ones even specific to the high school you're attending currently. There's ones for females in STEM and for minorities, as well as first generation students.

I also enter the scholarship drawings every week on CollegeVine, but I haven't won a scholarship here yet.

I hope this helps!

I don't like the ones on Collegeboard or Niche cause your chances of winning are very low... There's a website called Raiseme that awards you for your academics and achievements which I like much more. Its more of micro-scholarships but when you put colleges on your list on the website the colleges themselves award you and then when you're going off to that college whatever money you earned on the website gets straight sent to the college of choice (some colleges don't do micro-scholarships). Joy pointed at a good one in her post.
