How do you get scholarships?

What are some scholarships that you are pretty much guaranteed to win if you do well in school?

Merit scholarships! After you apply colleges will send a letter offering you a merit scholarship, for me, it was also available online! If a school does not offer you a merit scholarship, but other schools do, you can appeal for a scholarship!

My state also offers a merit-based scholarship and if you have a high enough GPA, ACT or SAT score and lots of volunteer hours, they will cover most or all of your tuition (for public school, they estimate an equivalent amount of money for private). So maybe see if there's something similar in your state (sorry! not well-versed in how other states do things!)

You can also check for local scholarships since those will have less competition!!
