Hello, my name is Cynthia and I'm about to enter my senior year of high school. Of course I have the worry of financial aid and whether it will be enough so I won't be growing in debt. I plan to apply to FAFSA, the school's personal financial aid, and a work-study job, however I'm not sure if it will be enough because most schools I want to attend are 4- year private colleges. I assumed that since I'm a hispanic, first-generation female, I would get extra help but I can't guarantee it base on my demographics.
That being said, are there some other places where I can receive scholarships or grants? I'm open to anything.
Here are two blog posts that list colleges that offer generous financial aid. The first blog post focuses on colleges that offer need-based aid, which is determined from your FAFSA. The other post includes schools that offer lots of merit aid, meaning aid that is awarded based on an applicant's achievements, regardless of their financial aid profile. Merit aid is often awarded to students who identify as BIPOC and/or are first-generation.

Hope this helps!
