If I study at a college in canada will I be able to get a Job in the US?

I am a US Resident who lives in OHIO, I decided to go to college in Canada and get a degree from a Canadian college will I be able to get a job in the US? The college is the Memorial University of Newfoundland and I plan to major in criminology?

yes you can get a Job in the USA if you are in college in Canada. Not all new immigrants get a job within a month of landing. I have seen people taking 3 months, 6 months, and even more than a year to get their first job. It totally depends on your capability if you are getting a job or not. According to the U.S. Department of Education, if the college is certified and has its credentials, then most employers will accept it as a valid degree. Now, this isn't a guarantee you'll get hired, but it's just saying that they won't discount you on account of your degree being from another country. I would suggest looking into the criminology program at Memorial University of Newfoundland and seeing if it's a strong curriculum before accepting any offers, though, so you know how much you're going to get out of the college and how it will impact your job search after you graduate.
