Which colleges are good for the Pre-Med route? Is Alabama good?
In the long run, where you complete your undergraduate years doesn't matter too much for medical schools. Assuming you get in the required pre-med courses (e.g. biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics), you would be off to a good start. You can check out the University of Alabama's medical school acceptance rates here: https://prehealth.ua.edu/student-outcome-data/. I'd suggest looking into nearby opportunities when the time comes at each college to see if it's something that allows you to gain critical hours shadowing and volunteering in your community.
It is definitely a good school for you. If you would like to apply to other schools, you can use this source. (https://blog.collegevine.com/2018-best-pre-med-schools/).
