Hello!

I found an affordable college in New York, CCNY. I know this isn't a lot but if you go up to the top of your collegevine page there will be the word "Schools". Click on it, there will be a dropdown. Go to find schools and a page with lots of small boxes will pop up. There should be some filters on the side and you can filter the schools by state, region, religious affiliation, major, cost and so much more! I really hope this helps.

Good Luck!

In terms of the Southeast, North Carolina would be the ideal state to look at. Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest all have commendable political science programs, and UNC Greensboro has a great philosophy department, along with the afore-mentioned schools. However, I don't know much about schools in the Mid-Atlantic, so I'm not sure I can help there.
