Good Universities for Linguistics that isn't too prestigious
Answered

Hi! I'm a sophomore planning on majoring in linguistics when I go to college. So, my question is this: are there any universities besides the big ones like Harvard and Yale that offer good linguistics courses? In particular, I've been looking at the UF linguistics courses because it's close enough for me to travel to. Any suggestions for affordable universities with linguistics courses that don't require a perfect SAT score and 15 AP classes to get into?

U.S News is a great resource for searching by specific majors! University of Rochester, UC Davis, UT Austin, Penn State, etc. are great options depending on location preference and GPA. I would suggest applying for financial aid if cost is a concern. Best of luck!
