What are some good affordable universities that have a decent writing program?

In regards to finding an affordable college, I would complete the Net Price Calculator for the colleges you are interested in. Generally, schools with a high endowment will be able to provide more in grants. If you are going out of state, I would look into colleges that are 100% needs met. I know that Northwestern has a really good writing program and is also 100% needs met.
I'm interested in pursuing a writing degree as well! Some schools that I've liked and aren't horribly expensive are:
- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- University of Texas at Austin
- William and Mary
Some others I like but are a bit pricier:
- University of Michigan
- University of Virginia
- University of Pennsylvania
