Liberal v. Research

I tried to find an already-made post on this but couldn't, so I was wondering if one was better than the other? If it helps the answers, I plan to major in psychology. Thanks!

From what I have heard from Psychology PhD. students it depends on what you plan on doing after your undergraduate. It seems to me that you can do more in a research-based school.
