Hello! The major is not as important as the actual courses you take.

I expect you will be doing premed, so you'll be taking chemistry, biology, and other science classes in college to meet the prerequisites for med school. As for your major, I recommend something related to your future career path, such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, psychology, or other science majors.

If you have something else you're passionate about, go ahead and learn more about it! Also, med school is very difficult so make sure not to get burnt out in undergrad. Additionally, most people do bio or a premed track.

You will likely be a premed, or you have the option of applying to combined BS/MD programs. These programs guarantee admission to med school, and you would apply to them at the same time you would apply to any other university.
