Where should I go to major in mortuary science?
Answered

I'm a junior in high school who is very interested in entering the field of mortuary science. I was wondering if there are any universities that would offer this major alonside other majors/minors or if this type of degree is strictly limited to specialty schools?

I would love to have the whole experience of campus life if it's possible, I'm just not sure where to start looking!

Thank you for any guidance you can offer!

There are a few universities which offer mortuary science programs. They typically offer it as either an Associate's Degree or a pre-professional program similar to a pre-med track. The pre-professional programs will educate you in the building blocks of mortuary science, e.g. biology and chemistry, and then you will take classes at a partner specialty school to gain industry knowledge.

This site lists the top universities that offer mortuary science programs. Any of these programs will give you the full undergraduate experience, with campus life and the chance to study other majors or minors. Hope this helps!
