Opinions on Occupational Therapy

I graduate 2024, and I am set on becoming a children's occupational therapist. I want to go to a college with a well planned occupational therapy major, but I also want to wrestle in college. I am a region champion in the state of Utah, and I want to continue in college. Are there set recommendations for colleges with a program and a team? How should I search for these?

I would recommend taking a look at colleges with top psychology programs, such as those on this CollegeVine list. Colleges with these programs will generally have the resources to help you study children's occupational therapy more specifically. A psychology degree can also prepare you for grad school therapy programs. Since it is a more common major than therapy itself, you will have a greater chance of finding a school with a competitive wrestling team as a psychology major. Hope this helps!
