hello! first thing i would say is to definitely take as many possible science classes you have at school. if there are any sort of science-y clubs at your school, I would recommend joining them. I would also recommend picking up some volunteering. see if a nearby zoo has anything you could do, specifically in any water environment/animals. maybe even see if any nearby parks or beaches have any opportunities.
