Hello, in the near future I want to go to medical school. In order to do that, I need a high GPA in both college and high school. I have taken rigorous classes such as AP and dual enrollment and gotten As and Bs in them. However, math is usually the subject I struggle with the most; my grade here brings my GPA down as I usually make high Cs. I do not have honors classes available at my school so I don't have much of a weighted GPA. What's the best way to bring it up?
I would definitely recommend you take some AP Classes, I know it could seem a little hard but honors classes too. Classes like AP Psych and APUSH are really good on your resume too depending on what you want to major in and they’re fairly easy. Any honors classes really help and they’re very easy. If you do good in most of these classes it’ll definitely raise your GPA
since math is what seems to bring you down, I woud suggestest studying, asking the teacher questions and even getting tutoring for that subject. Getting an A or B in math would definitely boost your GPA! Just gaining a better understanding of the subject would help you increase your grade. Also, if you start a homework/studying routine, you can help increase your test grades. But besides that just take any AP classes available and try to get A's so your weighted GPA is as high as possible. Not sure if this helps, but lmk if you have any other questions!
