Some decent colleges that are okay with mid ecs?
Answered

My grades are good but my ECs aren’t that exceptional (according to Collegevine, they’re all in the Tier 3 rank).

What are some colleges that stress grades more than ECs? Like meritocratic I think

To add to the other great answers here, the UT schools also focus on grades, class rank, and test scores. Also, keep in mind that college admissions is holistic at every school - exceptional essays and other application components can make up for ECs that are not the best. Hope this helps!

Definitely look at your state schools. Also If you live in California, or even out of state, the UC system generally values good grades and test scores over extremely exceptional ECs.

I think that the colleges that are considered safety for you by the CollegeVine chancing simulator and maybe some targets should be those that would look at your good grades and wouldn't be worrying much about ECs but reaches will certainly look for good extracurriculars.

Hope this helps.
