College List

What colleges should I have on my list?

I am a rising Junior in high school.

I have a 4/4 gpa being straight A’s in honors and AP classes.

Activities:

Academic Decathlon

Year round lacrosse varsity player

Lacrosse official

NHS

Sprint Triathlon

Writing & photography

“Playing college lacrosse would be great, yet I am unsure of the right school as Nebraska is not well known for the game.”

I want to go pre-med as I currently want to become an orthopedic surgeon. I take classes at UNMC and at MCC for healthcare.

Just looking for some recommendations😁.

Do you have a major in mind? Or what kinds of schools do you like? Campus/No Campus, City, Urban, Rural, Big, Small, Sports, No Sports, Public, Private, Location?

Totally open to anything. Location: I want to stay in the US and stay closer to the warmer side.

Legit most schools have biology/other majors that can get you on a premed track, here are some (some are not in the most warm places lol) as an idea but there are SO MANY to choose from. You can filter on the collegevine college search tab and decide based on location, school size, etc., since many schools have bio as a major.

UCSF

UCSD

UCLA

Emory

JHU

Northwestern

Stanford

Duke

UF

UW-Madison

U Pitt

Penn State

St. Louis U

Good luck!

You have a very strong profile! If you continue the large array of extracurriculars and strong academics I would say you could apply to a lot of reach schools (not sure what schools are good for lacrosse though). My only recommendation would be to engage in more leadership positions to express your dedication to the activities you do.
