What should I major in to be a cancer researcher??!
Answered

I really want to become a cancer researcher and have decided to go to school and major in molecular biology, but when searching what I could do with a Mol. Bio degree I come up short. Many websites talk about how you can't do much with it. So what should I major in? I was looking at biochemistry, cellular biology or just biology. I might want to go to med school after undergrad or graduate school.

A good choice would be biochemistry. If you look at the academic pages on any of the college websites, the biochemistry descriptions almost always mention cancer research. If you decide you don't want to go in that direction there are other things you can do with that degree (if you google it, the list is long). Another thought: if you go to a liberal arts college, you usually don't have to declare your major until the end of your sophomore year. If you begin with biology classes and something else sparks your interest, you can move in another direction with no problem.
