Do I have a chance at acceptance?

I am a senior from Georgia and am aiming for The University of Georgia. Should I apply if I have this educational background?

~GPA- 3.9/3.95

~class rank- 29/214

~6 AP and 4 Honors by the time I graduate.

~ I am retaking the SAT in November and December and will aim for at least a 1250 to 1300 if not higher.

~ Extracurriculars- will have 24 volunteer hours, participated in theater my junior year, Dance team my 10th grade year, babysitting my freshman year, Beta club my junior and senior year, Book club my senior year, was nominated for the Governors honors program but didn't get into the program, receptionist at a non-profit my junior year for 6 months.

~ Outstanding in Biology award for my school

I am wanting to apply regular decision so I can retake the SAT. If I do not get in, I will go to community college for a year or two then transfer.

-Do I have a chance at acceptance?

what could I do to increase my chance?

You have a good chance of acceptance. Apply for early action. If you are not selected, most likely, you will get deferred to a regular decision. What is your current sat score? Aim for 1400 to improve your chances. Keep your grades up for the mid-senior year transcript.
