Colleges

There's a lot of colleges that you can get into without taking ACT, but colleges that don't require essays are rare. Most colleges require at least the Common App/Coalition Application essay, and many colleges have supplemental (additional) essays. You're ruling out a lot of good universities from your list with that no-essay criterion.

If you go onto the common app under the "college search" tab you can filter the colleges that you can apply to. You can find colleges that are test-optional and ones that don't require any essays, just make sure to check both boxes.
