In short yes! Because you are competing against fewer applicants.

EA is usually the best option if the school offers it and your application/essays are in good shape.

If you are 100% sure of school and that you'd attend regardless of what financial aid you're offered then ED would be better because there's fewer applications in pool and it shows a higher level of conviction with school since it's binding.

If you are really set on a school and love everything about it, you might wanna consider ED which will more likely than not give you a higher chance of acceptance going off just numbers. Otherwise, EA or RD is a better option.
