What are the best foreign language colleges/universities to go to?

I'm a sophomore planning on double majoring when I go to college, one of those majors being a foreign language. I'm not really picky when it comes to the specific language, but I would prefer Russian, Asl, Italian, Swedish, etc. I just really want to attend a phenomenal university that has a great foreign language program that fits my needs for my future jobs options.

I recommend Georgetown University and Middlebury University! Both universities offer top language programs that allow you to advance to high levels - for example, Georgetown (my alma mater) is the only American university I am aware of that offers Russian classes up to level 6.

Both schools will also give you plenty of opportunities to practice your languages of interest, from student clubs to conversation hours with professors. They even provide opportunities to learn more niche languages, such as Farsi and Basque.

If you have any other questions about language learning and choosing colleges, don't hesitate to ask me during a free consultation! Hope this helps!
