Hi,
Ive done my research on Western Governors University but I'm not so sure I trust the web (lol) and still think it could possibly be a diploma mill... Is it?
WGU is a legitimate university that is regionally accredited. It's not a diploma mill, and it can provide you with a real education that is respected by employers. With that said, it won't give you the same type of education that a traditional university will. WGU classes are designed for people who prefer learning by themselves and ideally have work experience in the subjects they study. WGU offers a general education that will give you a good foundation of knowledge and educational polish for your career. Traditional universities will give you a more thorough understanding of your major, with more enjoyable means of learning than reading content, writing papers, and completing auto-graded tests, which is how WGU classes are structured. Hope this helps!
