Hi,
I am planning on taking the PSAT 10 this spring and wondering if it will help improve my chances of getting into a good school. Also, I am struggling with the Math NC, so if you have any pointers, help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
No, colleges do not look at PSAT. The PSAT is meant to prepare you for the SAT, which colleges do look at. However, if you score high on the PSAT, you can qualify for a National Merit Scholarship, which will look good. The PSAT is only a boost if you are a National Merit Scholar, but if not, do not put it on college applications. Instead submit your SAT, ACT, whichever is higher. If they both are high or are both required, submit both.
