What colleges should I be looking at?
Answered

I'm a junior this year, and I have been having trouble finding colleges that I am interested in that can satisfy all my needs. I want to stay in the midwest-ish area because I have separation anxiety from my family, but I want somewhere that has residency options. I don't want to have to pay too much for tuition, but I want a good college that has good Zoology programs and veterinary(I want to be a wildlife veterinarian and rehabilitator). Any suggestions fo colleges? Or am I being to picky?

Hello @a1ex,

First off, I just want to let you know there is nothing wrong with being "picky" when it comes to choosing a college. It is perfectly alright (and normal) to be selective about choosing which schools you want to apply to. As for finding these colleges, I would suggest you use CollegeVine's "Find Schools" feature. You can filter out certain schools through which state they are in and which majors/programs they offer, as well as the cost and whether it is public/private. You could also reach out to alumni from your high school that have similar interests (if you know any) and perhaps go on several college tours this summer. Hope this helps.
