Advice?
Hi I’m a 10th grade student from Oregon. I have a 3.935 gpa which is ok and I have 490on maths psat and 590on English psat. I am looking at UC Berkeley and Stanford as my target schools but I am open to Reed (in OR), WSU, OSU, I am looking to go into the medical field or into business so if anyone can recommend some schools that would be great
I would say Stanford is probably a reach, just because schools like that reject tons of qualified applicants and can be a bit random in who they accept. Definitely look at more schools that are more in the target or safety area. A lot of schools have good medical and business programs, so that might not narrow down your search very much. In the range of more competitive schools that are probably a better chance than Stanford, I’d recommend looking into Boston University, Wake Forest, and Boston College. Unfortunately I don’t know a ton of colleges on the west coast. Hope this helps
