City or college town?

Hi everyone, I am doing my research about where I would want to attend college and I want everyone's opinion about colleges in the city or in a college town? What would be some of the pros, and some of the cons of each? :)

I am looking at both because a college town will give you the typical experience but a city will prepare you for life after college.

Personally, I'm looking at both! I think there are serious pros and cons to both options. For example, a college town will have a lot of spots with just college kids for you to meet. However, you may get fewer chances at the cultural things that big cities have to offer. I also agree with the other commenter. The typical experience is always what people look for, but life after college may be more important.
